Junior Volleyball League

WAVL is Volleyball Western Australia’s (VWA) official indoor league, and represents the highest level of indoor volley in WA. 

  • Competition runs from May to September.

  • Games are played on a Sunday (with occasional Friday night or Saturday games)

  • Divisions is suitable for any ability - ages 15 years and older. 

  • Chequers Membership and WAVL Platinum Membership Required

Preseason/Trials

  • Chequers preseason – February and March in the lead up to trials for the WAVL State League and Division teams.

Training

  • Mount Lawley Sport and Fitness Centre

  • State League/Reserves and Division 1train twice a week

  • Divisions teams train once a week

WAVL State League & Divisions

Junior League is a competition run by Volleyball WA for School Years 6-12.

Competition runs during Terms 2 and 3 at various venues, with one hour matches on Friday nights.

  • School Years 6 to 12.

  • Friday start times vary between 5:30pm and 7:30pm
